We were saddened and disappointed that Gonzalo recently decided he cannot commit full time to Karnataka. Given the short notice, we have decided not to find a replacement for the remainder of the tour but instead be creative and embrace new technology in our live production enabling us to recreate all the keyboards and many of the sounds from the past albums. We respect Gonzalo’s decision and look forward to welcoming a new keyboard player in due course who shares our vision, passion and commitment on the exciting journey ahead. We’re having a blast on tour and thank you to everyone who has come along and enjoyed the shows with us.
really enjoyed the show at the Ropetackle in Shoreham always think it sounds like an S & M shop ! But actually a friendly venue . You all tried really hard but if you COULD get Rick Wakeman on board I think it would help. Second half seemed really lively .
What was the music played just before you came on stage please ? The Sound man said it was Hans Zimmer. Loved hearing the Karnataka theme again too even if recorded. It’s a great melody.
Mr Jones – you do appear to have mastered the bass !!!! and it provided a great platform for the band
Hi Edward, thanks for the message and great to hear you enjoyed the Ropetackle show! The intro music was indeed by Hanz Zimmer – the track is called ‘Time’ and was used in the film Inception.
And thank you very kindly Sir for the positive words on my bass playing!
All the best
Ian
Thanks for the info – have been following you since the second album and you have been consistently entertaining over the years despite the changes and upheavals. Absolutely loved Chasing The Monsoon in particular .
